Martin, a new adoptee and comic relief. He arrived just at the right time, when my heart needed it. :) It's been a few years since the joy of a pet has been in my life. 🥰

I'm loving the global voice of women supporting one another; it empowers me to keep believing and remember that collective change matters. This first poem, written at the start of this year, feeds that hope.

"Fortitude". I painted this painting a few years ago after the completion of a big life journey; I like to look at it when things are feeling hopeless or - even worse - helpless. It shouts, "Don't give up believing in the power of good!!!! Beauty (and justice) always find a way to rise!"
