Why are Japanese #fabtcg sets less than half the price for almost the exact same product?

After 3-0ing CC portion with Verdance at nats I did the wizard player thing and fumbled draft. Teammate top 4ed though so that was awesome :D
Day 2 played same deck at a nearby armory and 3-0ed :)
Played rosetta draft side event after and went 2-1 on a kano pile 🤣

Entire regional network was in shambles today due to thunderstorms all up the country.
What should have been a 1h 30m transit ended up being a mad woman sprint to get to the connecting flight.

Torrential rain and very windy all night and so far this morning. Have 2 flights to catch starting around midday to get to #fabtcg nationals but it's not looking too great for that first flight. Fingers crossed 😅

Felt my draft was ok but there were points where in hindsight I should have picked better. All good learning though :)
