Now it seems that you'll end up in Facebook jail for basically anything. Sod it then. I'll use this chance to give myself some breathing space. 🤣

Seeing all my former classmates working in cushy STEM related careers. One of them was studying again as a radiologist. I used to think that it was ridiculous accumulating debt for a degree, but seeing them now makes me slightly twinge with envy.

Awfully late to the Bandcamp wagon and discovering how I forgot how much I enjoyed actual people reviewing music. Already queuing up several records to buy digitally..

First Tessa Hadley book done. Fantastic, I can see why Brett and Neil love her books. I'm hooked too. #booksky

Also, just finished reading Michelle Zauner's Crying in H Mart after putting it off for so long. There are moments where the writing becomes performative; the best bits are the personalities of her family. My fave: Zauner's grandma cackling over missing the chance to wipe her grandchild's ass

I know I might regret purchasing ebooks off Google, but after seeing Hanako Footman's Mongrel in the bookstore, and dreaming of it later again in the same night, I took this as a sign that I should get the book.

Lucy Liyou's Arrest off her upcoming record, Every Video Without Your Face, Every Sound Without Your Name and it is so gorgeous wtf.

It's almost as if she dissolved herself and you, the listener, are submerged in her living body.

It would be really funny if Suede's PR team released that photo, and then someone deleted something vital from the website for that error to show up. If both events were never linked to each other, we would have been excited over nothing 💀

Someone recommended Girlvert: A P0rno Memoir on IG and a couple of spicy-looking reads. Haven't tried taking down notes here so might as well give it a try. Here's the book. It's a memoir about a p0rn actress's experiences in the industry.

We had the chance to improve on our non-existent card playing skills (no one had the skills, nor interest on this side of the family lol), and it turned out well. Looking forward to testing them today

Remembering that one customer who had a stage installed in their living room (with guitar, drums and all) and a large poster of Bowie eating peas whilst giving a conspiratorial look at his guitarist on the wall...but the existence of a stage in their living room will forever be a mystery to me...

Never made resolutions for the new year as they get broken very quickly -- but -- will make an exception for containing my visual journal because it seems promising and has been fun to do so far. Hope I don't jinx my resolution 🤞

This Bluesky thing feels (to me) like I'm a grandma navigating social media for the first time in their life
