The Gender+ Justice Initiative aims to “catalyze scholarship and advocacy” on “intersectional gender and racial justice” issues. Stevie was selected based on her work investigating the intersection of family regulation and reproductive health care.

The lack of internal checks raises serious constitutional concerns. This is especially concerning given a recent SCOTUS decision lifting a ban on immigration agents’ racial profiling, which wrote off decades of Fourth Amendment law.
