I wish you all the best. Where I am living we never had independent bookshop. They disappeared long time ago. Fight them on service and fresh ideas. I am going to visit Edinburgh next year, I will visit you, perhaps buy something? Eventually you might have to specialise. Do you own freehold?

Emu was funny at times but overall that big puppet was also great pain in the neck. It brought memories though.

That alpaca looks a bit skinny.

I have seen Camelot on screen and in theatre. I never liked any version of this musical. Problem I think is that this musical is badly written in the first place. I once had the pleasure to meet Joshua Logan at the US Embassy in London, curtesy of Ambassador Walter Anenbergh. Those were the days.

Ok I shall be totally unoriginal.
Jake will adopt something in between face and posture.

MAGA Party infiltrated and eventually took over Republican Party. They need it that to gain cover and control over political party with a right of centre, democratic credentials. On their own they would have failed.

Apparently Steve Bannon said in his podcast that if Trump loses next Presidential election many MAGA people will be going to prison as his pardons will not be worth the paper they are written on.
I view MAGA party as a separate entity from traditional Republicans.

Very likely. Until he dies I shall be looking forward to seeing him sentenced by a Cogressional tribunal to a very long prison sentence. Rest of his family should follow him there as well.

Talking about video discs I went totally bonkers by pre-ordering a 4K disc of “Night of a Juggler”. It was rather surprising how expensive it was. But I was rather eagerly expecting this release. Probably I could have got it from Amazon at cheaper price, but I want to support normal shops.

Oh very Sunday like. I like your style. As for us we have gone to have a look at some classic buses and then for a meal at nearby creperie.

Remember it very well. Very good film indeed. Strongly recommended!!

I am hoping that one day Trump will pay for his corruption with being put for a considerable time into prison and his riches confiscated.

You’re half right. I have it on reliable authority that King Charles advised PM Starmer not to invite Trump for a second state visit. He did not listen and insisted on King Charles to host second Trump’s state visit. King Charles cannot do anything else than carry out government’s wishes.

I don’t think I will ever understand why people voted for this characterless, reptilian man who is daily bringing shame to a country I greatly admired.

His trade tariffs are just simply a weapon which he uses to demand bribes from various nations. Nothing more. He doesn’t care about people in US, he recently demonstrated that quite visibly at Mar- E-Largo with his ostentatious party while many people just about cope to live.

Finally a few thoughts. Many years ago I watched a speech live. In it Trump really provoked agitated people to march on the Congress and fight like hell for their dream. Yes it was towards the end of the speech, nevertheless he said it and people took him at his word. Panorama programme not seen.

Don’t forget you will be fighting on behalf of other media companies who are also being fleeced by Trump. You will be inundated with lawyers who will see this trial as a career enhancing opportunity. But be careful who you choose. Please BBC start having some spine and fight for your journalists.

If he wants a court fight then let him have one. Counter sue him for the same amount and for harm to BBC reputation which is real and long standing, unlike Trump’s reputation. Find good lawyers and don’t let him string out the start of the trial before statutory legals expire.

BBC had fallen into his trap and of course like a good extortionist he goes after it. He wants a big bribe, this man has no shame, he doesn’t care what people think of him. BBC made one big mistake and that is, that Trump is a decent man. BBC has to be tough with him.

He is an acknowledged liar, fraudster and as the most corrupt President in US history. Now he added another expertise as a blackmailer/extortionist who preys on weak companies and media companies to force them to keep quiet about Trump.
