Broadly agree. Aldcroft playing 6 seems no accident but I wonder if Mitchell was giving max. opportunities for locks to step up? Ward is nailed on lock starter now. Based on what we've seen, could Talling or Galligan be dropped from 23 to facilitate SK, AM, MF and MP? Definitely maybe

Reasonable, informative and broadly agree. Packer superior ballspeed and engagement with defenders. Curious how little we saw from a 9 other than Hunt or Packer this W6N. Robinson had a cameo; no Wyrwas. Who could be trusted if MH or LP are unavailable? Could one of them even be a deserving starter?

Based on anecdotal evidence of my partner's parents and the attendees from my rugby club group booking, Rizzle Kicks half time show was genuinely a tick in the plus column for white English people aged 40-60

Think it was an instruction from Mitchell for the 'learning experience', but in 2nd half ENG tried lots of ball in hand phases centrally. It was blunt but ENG persisted; gave away set pieces or quick turnovers. Needed some Shaun Edwards 'kick the effing ball' as FRA were poor under contested kicks.

Tbf we've all seen EK and JB wave through defenders in a similar way to today; so no major diff?
As others have said, ENG did not disrupt FRA ruck speed much. Ball then got put into wide players' hands uncomfortably quickly for edge defenders, and too early for effective cover support.
