Was anyone else aware moving blankets were also referred to as fabric flesh?
a screenshot of uboxes listing for "textile blankets / skins" which led me recoil in horror that in my 25+ years and nearly 2 dozen moves i have never heard these referred to as textile skins. which i will henceforth refer to as "fabric flesh" for the alliteration

Spent all day finishing the last of a ton of house laundry, dishes, and taking down and wrapping all the framed art in the house and now i need to shower.
A room packed with boxes of varying shapes and sizes and now also nearly two dozen frames with their glass surfaces covered in cardboard and then wraped in moving blankets. there are also cat litter boxes nearby. also a pair of shoes nearly a decade old just used for indoor outdoor house work.

Mastering Community Management, @victoriatran.bsky.social's new book available now at your local bookseller, finally arrived! Sad to not have the cool design of the softcover but the HC fits nicely next to Understanding Media and I have to entertain the former academic in me once in a while.
a hardcover copy of Mastering Community Management by Victoria Tran sits on the lap of a red among us crewmate. the hardcover is a watery blue color that looks like several of the communications or media theory books one might have gone through shelves of in their academic years. maybe this sole bean aims to follow that path and learn the ways humanity and social thought. there is also a chicken nugget among us plush present, for obvious reasons.

Industry jargon and acronyms can sometimes cause problems. Like when you launch a new direct to film printer and give it a cute name but only run it by search engines made to downplay innuendo.
an ad for a direct to film printing company called "HERO DTF" with various shirts, yotes, and products featuring the ill-considered name.

My inbox and dms lately are just
the 3 inage donnie darko meme about making a friend only the text is edited. panel 1 character excitedly saying "i found a tariff free loophole for shipping!" Panel 2 - second character with hands clasped and exasperated "legal or mail fraud" panel 3 - the initial speaker dejectedly responding "international mail fraud." in this scenario i am the person holding their hands together exhausted at hearing this again.

24hrs ago i wasnt going to pax unplugged for work. but i am now getting in my car to drive 6-8 hrs to be there for work for one day.

Leftenant on the right. 9yo old spoiled princess who loves dry kibble. Grass. and chasing treats. She has so much anxiety. Whose to say why.

Goliath on the left. 10yo rescue who was a street cat for 9 yrs before adoption. Was afraid of the TV when we first got him. Comes by his anxiety honestly.

was moving stuff up to the attic and it was one of the few times Goliath has seen us bring the ladder down
a black cat sits upon a well loved paper bag. a reminder of one of the few comforts he had as a street cat. he gazes up above the eyeline of the camera gazing at some unknown horror. his eyes wide his mouth slightly open. slinked back slightly in anticipation of some unknown threat to take him from the safe and warm home he has come to know these past two years. but worry not dear reader, this cautious fellow was only looking upon a set of ceiling stairs going to the attic. brought down to put away boxes before his new loving family made him dinner.

US census released their business trends and outlook (www.census.gov/hfp/btos/data) and the response to AI use now or in the future is nowhere near what the marketing hype claims -
graphs showing a less than 6% use of AI by businesses in the last 2 weeks and only a 1.5% increase in likelihood in the near future.
