4) Progress over Perfection ✅: Don’t rework yourself to death. I did this way too much in the beginning. It doesn’t mean don’t push for your best but consistency can be found at the end of the 🌈. And great ideas may come later! Which often requires additional reworks.

3) Use Timers - Not Targets: There are days where you just cannot hit that 1,500 word count. Your 🧠 just says not today! By setting timers and allocating that resource you build a practice and nobody says you can’t write over that limit! 45 minutes? Great. 2 hours? Awesome if you can swing it! ⏰

2) Visuals Help: When developing my characters and scenes I used AI, Google Images, travel photos etc., to basically create a visual guide for my book. It helped bring me back to that place when I’d get distracted and jump in again quickly.
