Working on a little diner scene from a photo I took one day at lunch time. The sun was hitting the objects on the table at just the right angle. The classic trio of sugar, salt and pepper. 6"x6" / Oil on hardboard

Another work in progress. I like including knives in my paintings despite that an acquaintance claims to find them intimidating or disturbing in some way. For me, they just add an element of reality and provide a reflective element.

My first post on bsky. This is a work in progress of an oil painting of three pears. The pears tasted at least s good as they look. That's the advantage of being a still life painter. You get to taste some of your work. This one is 6"x6" / oil on hardboard.
