1/2 It is common for folks to say "the imaginary numbers are just as real as the real numbers", when really it should be something like "the real numbers are just as imaginary as the imaginary numbers."

Thinking about physics is dangerous! I was at a coffee shop working on an intro GR course that I teach in January. Still lost in thought about the course while I walked home. Slipped and fell on very icy sidewalk turning at an intersection without noticing conditions. Only my pride got hurt.
