The White House issued a post saying "gasoline dropped $3/Gallon" which, if true, would mean that gasoline is now free, or that some stations will pay you to put it in your car. They're not so good at math, these guys.

So insane. Duke Professor Mac McCorkle says in the Wash Post: “this is all about (Musk’s) feud with Trump and trying to sink the Trump legacy right now,” he added.”

Here’s what Musk was saying in February 2025:

I don’t think the USA should have a king. But if we have to have one, can we have T’Challa? upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en...

My sister invited me to join her at the protest at the Mall. I was ambivalent, but I decided to lend my body to the crowd.

This is the lede. Not one thing in it is true. He does not have a plan. The pain will not be short term. The nation is not advancing toward a new Golden Age (with or without quotes that are not attributed to anyone). This is garbage journalism.

Here's what Google AI told me when I asked it if Twitter is down today:
March 10, 2025 at 4:44 PM
It's down, but Google AI says it isn't down.
March 10, 2025 at 4:34 PM
I read here that Twitter was down, so I asked Google was Twitter working today. Then I went to Twitter and it wasn't loading. But don't worry, Google AI says everything is fine (except it isn't):

I agree it seems strange not to consider Jimmy Buffett Yacht Rock. He seems like the epitome of it. They identified Daryl Dragon from The Captain and Tennille as the only pop star to wear a sailor's hat, but Buffett wore one all the time.

No eggs at Georgia Ave NW Whole Foods. Thanks, Donald Trump.

What an amazing coincidence that two women unknown to me both like my Instagram post and both have the same name but different numbers.

I agree it's corrupt, but it's not like it hasn't happened before (I understand Bush was already out of office)

The College Park Trader Joe’s is completely out of eggs. Thanks, Donald Trump.

As for basic quality of life, I'm once again posting the number of ADUs approved since those rules were liberalized. For better or worse, it seems very likely that the attainable housing initiative will produce a trickle rather than a flood of new homes.

Here's how many ADUs have been approved since the County Council liberalized those rules. It's in the dozens, not hundreds or thousands. Fears of overburdened schools, insufficient infrastructure, & environmental impacts are at best exaggerated and at worst offered in bad faith.

Here's how many Accessory Dwelling Units have been approved throughout the entire county since the County Council liberalized those rules. It's in the dozens. Fears of "parking disaster" really exaggerate the likely impact of allowing duplexes and triplexes in formerly single family-only zones.
