Really enjoyed our last TDSB Literacy Lead Network meeting!

We explored leadership moves, learned about inquiry-based learning, led a classroom idea exchange, & participated in a design sprint to support educators across the system with curriculum and strengthening instructional practices.

@jasontries.bsky.social & I had a great time launching the Middle Years Digital Media Literacy Project with Apple Education & the Career Education Council.

Students will develop transferable skills & digital media literacy through the use of iPads, which culminates with an App Development project.

We're launching the TDSB Beginning Teacher & Mentor Co-Learning series!

Beginning Teachers & their Mentors deepened their understanding of assessment for/as learning by using their iPads to capture & interpret observations of student learning.

Delighted to announce that TDSB is now offering Teacher Leadership, Part 1 and Mentoring Additional Qualifications courses for TDSB and external staff.
