On Thursday my bad knee gave way I stumbled, fell backwards,landed on my 12st guitar,Rest in Pieces,ruined,I had just bought an Epiphone Casino,so will replace 12 st next year, when choices are better, Casino is arriving in Tuesday 🎸👍

Looking at getting an Epiphone Casino,My Gretsch semi,needs a bit of work & buying Casino might be a better idea,as I'm not that keen on it,after a lot of thought the sunburst is the choice, natural is cool but I've seen a few with inconsistent finishes,with my luck I'd end up with one of those

I bought this headphone amp 3 weeks ago,paid for early delivery,I still haven't opened it,a combination of humidity, aches & age & inherent laziness,when I decide to do some I approach it with a stubborn determination to finish the task,thing is stubborn determination works with the lazy side too🤣

Little Matteo,he's bigger now tho, currently has a little chest infection, nothing major,he's a bit young for antibiotics or Lysine to help,eating & drinking well,generally good shape,he's off to vet for checkup tomorrow,when we should find out if he's a boy or a girl,my money is on girl

This is Katie today,14 weeks ago we took her in,not moving or responsive,eyes stuck shut,both ears full of thick black clay,she's just over 4 months old,full of life & currently little Matteo best friend,well she is his sister

It's relatively cool weather here so 90 minutes guitar today, Blondie,Queen & Travelling Wilburys topped the list,this fella got an outing today,as brand go it looks very basic, which is perfect,I like plain(playing)🤣 instruments once they play well & sound good I'm happy

Jaws 50 th anniversary,my primary memory was winning a school spelling competition the English Teacher,John Benson,took 3 winners to Keohanes bookshop,bought each the book of our choice,he looked twice when I picked Jaws,but I'd been reading adult themed books since age 10,started with all the Bonds

Some sad news,one of the 2 young kittens we took in passed away this evening,she went peacefully in warm surroundings,heartbreaking still,she was at vet twice, but they were little use,her lil bro Matteo is thriving tho,R.I.P little Joyce,we tried so hard for you

Made good on the promise to play some Kinks tunes,simple yet very clever songs,the genius of Ray Davies,what better guitar to use than Masquerader,no bells, whistles,gimmicks,no bird position markers,just 2 pickups & 3 way switch,great sounding guitar tho🎸👍

Harry in woods about 2 years back,he didn't show it but his acl left leg was weak at the time, he's had both cruciate ligaments replaced since

3 months ago we took in Katie & from a kitten on her last legs,here she is today,what is she looking at? 2 jet black 8 week old kittens that turned up at back door abandoned by mother,the just come from vets,wormed,eyes cleaned,2 more additions,I must be daft🤣

Early play today, later Beatles stuff,I like ones that aren't well known,like Birthday & Hey Bulldog,and ones with solos I like,Something & Let it Be,the latter being the 1st guitar solo I learned note for note back in 1980,also my favorite Harrison solo ,just perfection 🎸👍

Some Country Rock this morning, mainly the Eagles,great songs for parties, everyone loves them,the guitar,a lightweight Harley Benton,I changed tuners pickups & added a proper bridge,nice guitar now, love the colour but don't think I'd buy another tho,
