Me too. But it hits different - DC didn't ask for "rescue" by the Guard; in fact these guys were sent from WVA. Their mission was murky from the start. They aren't policemen anyway

So the Governor of West Virginia sent his National Guard troops to DC for a political stunt for the authoritarian in the White House, and sent them to their death.
