I was in town to watch the girls varsity volleyball game (they won in two straight) and I try to remember to stop and appreciate how beautiful things are.

Jackson Ellinger (2nd from left) and Kurt Pursche (2nd from right) took part in Oozeball today. It's volleyball, but as you can see, it is played in mud. So awesome 😊

EARLY START
Had an early start this morning and had the sun chasing me the whole flight. Though the sun never caught me, I am looking forward to a bright and sunny singing weekend serving on the judging panel for the Land of Lakes district!

PING PONG PALS
After my plane landed I drove up to the boys' college to play ping pong with the boys (old dad somehow won the first 5 games), eat dinner and watch the Lions game. I'll head home tomorrow, but what a fun day and evening.

I met Olympic Skateboarder Christiana Means. She was super nice, explaining how competitions worked, how she'd been fairing (she'd been doing great BTW) and shared how stoked fired up and excited for those not accustomed to skate lingo

I went to check in at a kiosk for a flight and there I found someone's phone. I turned it into the check in desk and they paged a Stephanie Burch. It felt really good to return the favor to someone else😊
