Despite the 60 Minutes CECOT story being releases on the web in bootleg form, the underlying issue is that a major network killed a news story from airing in prime time presumably at the demand of Donald Trump, whose stranglehold on news he dislikes is ever increasing.

The SCOTUS/DOGE decision handed down today opens the door for the very "deep state" shit that the right wing has railed against for decades. Their whole 2A/gun rights vibe was allegedly in part to use "whatever means necessary" to protect personal liberty.
