Gay, been with partner since early 90s from Northern Ireland, worked in England 85-10? Moved to France full time now retired
An interesting fact the Northern Ireland part of the UK has a population of 2M that’s bigger than 13 of the 50 states. What’s democratic about the Senate, where CA pop 40 M gets 2 senators and so does Wyoming with a population < 600K!

And you think Badenoch or even worse Farage wouldn’t do the same performance. Real politics, he’s FOTUS for 3.5 years more. If he get words in his ear about Ukraine, Gaza etc then do it. As his cronies in the cabinet and the WH only tell home what he wants to hear. So needs must.

There is no concept of ‘associative’ membership. Either you’re in it like Canada or not (anymore) like Ireland. Or expelled like Zimbabwe.

Last time he boasted the streets were crowded with British Trump supporters, spoiler alert, they weren’t!

Doesn’t the R give it away as the Royal Society etc, so you’d expect a Royal as patron. His mother was as well.

So why Canada pop 40.1 M should be patronised as only worth a status of THE 51st state is galling, disparaging and downright pathetic & absolutely wrong . I ❤️CANADA forever a G7 sovereign country by right. Vive leCANADA

The UK is a monarchy, we changed the head of state when the late Queen died instantly. As for our Prime Minister, the general election period lasted 5 weeks, election day was 4th July, on 5th July around 11am the old PM went to the Palace to resign less than 1/2 hour later the new PM was in place

I also checked the latest BARB report on-line for w/e 1/12 SCD topped the ratings with 9M viewers, so one will assume SCD 2025 is already in the BBC's autumn schedule plans.

What a final that was, no real surprise who won as it was pretty obvious from the SCD Facebook page that bar falling flat on his face twice he'd still win. Still think JB deserved the glitter ball. Bu the dance of the night was Tasha's and Aljaz's show dance was absolutely FABULOUS

well if this was the first post from having never seen a post of "hers" before on twitter / X. From a UK point of view appeared on twitter, he was Sir Michael Take MP CBE, initially some very famous people reacted to his posts as literal. Until people pointed out it was a pun on "taking the mickey"
