Racism has no place in B.C. but we know it exists, and we are determined to continue to fight it in all its forms. One year after its launch, the Province’s racist incident helpline is making a difference with approximately 94% of callers reporting their needs were met.

🎒 Kits for Kids is back! Each year, this program provides essential school supplies to students from families in need, distributing thousands of backpacks full of pens, pencil crayons, erasers, lined paper, and more. Happy to take part and very grateful to the organizers!

In 1914, 340 Sikhs, 24 Muslims & 12 Hindus arrived in Canada aboard the Guru Nanak Jahaz (Komagata Maru) looking for a better life. They were turned away and faced persecution & death on their return. Today we remember them and recommit ourselves to justice & human rights.
