LA has always had a risk from fires since the early 1800s. Some of the recent fires, in the area, were began by arsonists!
India has always had floods. First recorded in 1341!
Libya - Derna was partly destroyed!

'Ignoring the ignorant ..." How can that be a kindness?
Surely, it's better to put over your point of view and try to educate the 'ignorant' because, you know, maybe, just maybe the 'ignorant' may have a valid point of view that your prejudice has missed!
