Kemi Badenoch mentioned how much the UK's debt interest is costing us. She's right, it's becoming crippling. And a very substantial portion of that debt was added to the UK government's balance sheet during the Conservatives' period in office.

Prof Alexis Jay, chair of public inquiry into child sexual abuse, says further national inquiry into grooming gangs isn’t needed & would delay action.

“The time has passed for more inquiries, we’ve had enough… We’ve set out action required & people should just get on with it, nationally & locally”

Some people in recent days have alleged a ‘cover-up’ over the grooming & rape of hundreds of young girls in predominantly northern UK towns, leading to calls for a ‘national’ public inquiry into child sexual exploitation

In 1979, Jimmy Carter had solar panels installed at the White House.

Ronald Reagan had them removed.

We may be able to trace back the current "Do Harmful Things if it Trolls the Libs" Republicanism to Reagan removing those panels the far more forward thinking Carter had installed.
