Thank you Rick!

I think so, but still would want to have large amount of the product ungated and free for use.

How would you monetize this? Interested to hear what you think :)

Interesting idea, like a downstream provider notification or similar.

Might be tricky since most companies rely on a third-party to handle the reporting so would need to integrate towards that somehow - but some food for thought 💭

thank for sharing your ideas Erwin!

Agree, great idea - I’ll look into that.

Another source could be searches for that service within a certain timeframe

Appreciate the feedback!

The data is from public status pages mainly.

Yes exactly - the core features will be around notifications, data analysis of the services and (maybe) SLA templates.

I have been tracking for around 6 months so lots of data, just need to make it visible 👌

🙋

I soft launched mixstatus.com yesterday way before it’s ready.

The mobile experience sucks, and it lacks feature depth but wanted to put it out there as a start.

Appreciate any thoughts!

Ah thanks! Yes looks like an issue during a migration for a couple of those active incidents - I’ll take a look :)

Thank you Navin 🙏

No it’s live data! Which disruption specifically?

Haha yep that’s work in progress, also the toggling to create your own dashboard is behind a feature flag while I finish it up (it’s working already)

Appreciate the feedback a lot!

Thanks for giving it a try!

that helps drive what I'll work on next 💪

Makes sense! The ol' sonnet saves us again 🙏

Imagine if it stayed this way.. I’d never leave the app

I’m building a service that aggregates 200+ SaaS service disruptions and helps track this in real-time, you?
December 2, 2024 at 9:28 PM
It looks great! nice stuff :)

How was it building the availability? I also wince a little when working with times/dates etc 😂

This is 💯 a AI response 😂🤖

I agree in general, I guess it depends on the motivation.

I'm building a product for end users that enables me to learn a bunch, try a lot of strategies and tactics I never touch like SEO, un-gated products etc

No pressure, no time crunch - but flying through the build process because it's fun!

Very happy for them! Really well run competition Thomas 💪
December 2, 2024 at 8:48 PM
That’s a really nice way to look at it.

I wonder if you actually improve the skill of explaining things clearly
December 1, 2024 at 9:02 PM
this is just taking other companies incident events and reporting on that in a little nicer way, so no focus on my own services yet.

would be really nice to extend this to be able to handle that and have your own services as well as the others you build upon
December 1, 2024 at 7:36 PM
Thank you, but not quite! the design is, but the UI itself is built upon @shadcn.com and @tailwindcss.com :)
December 1, 2024 at 7:24 PM
Makes sense! my experience is coming from this (the attached gif) - which is built for engineers, looking at incidents targeting their platform.

I think there's an opportunity to cater to sales, marketing etc who don't track this actively, but it affects their work.

Thanks for the feedback! 🙌

You too! 💪

Morning!

I was eager to do some building this weekend and woke up multiple times in the night to search for solutions to problems I have 😅

Now I have three tabs on my phone browser steering my prioritization which is great 😂
