The Citizenship clause is ridiculously simple. The only clarifications have concerned Native Americans and foreign diplomats regarding the meaning of ‘subject to the jurisdiction of.’ No legal justification can exclude illegal immigrants. ICE is demonstrating that jurisdiction quite literally.

Please lower the speed limit on Awbrey to 20 mph. Or 15. Yeah, I’ve been told by the city that there’s some stupid state law that mandates 25 mph minimum unless it’s designated a ‘greenway.’

Sure but how does one make electricity cheap? Dams are pretty much played out in terms of new capacity; wind and solar infrastructure isn't cheap and have availability and transmission issues; nuclear, the obvious choice for new baseload generation, has rather large upfront costs.

Making and delivering electricity is an inherently expensive thing, though. Particularly if you want to do it in a 'climate friendly' manner.

Law-making by referendum/initiative is never a good thing. The average voter just doesn’t have the knowledge or time to gain knowledge to properly decide fiscal issues like this. That why we elect representatives. I almost always vote No.

I read that the Interior Secretary boasted about now only charging US citizens $80 for an annual pass. The cost already was $80.
