If useless information were dynamite, I would be a weapon of mass destruction. I will mostly be posting items from my collection of comic book and Pulp magazine images. Other stuff and nonsense will no doubt ensue.
Superman comic published in November, 1975.

Careful, Chris Delbart, I've heard all the Quaaludes in Metropolis are laced with Kryptonite.

Mmmmm! Gruel!

For the record a “cabin biscuit” is what we would call a plain cracker.

Revealed at last, why the miraculous hidden MedBed in the "news" of late is being kept secret.

They seem to have a major side effect, and those who use it are taken... somewhere else.

Best Detective Magazine, January 1933.

Most of the covers for this magazine from Street & Smith were dull; however, this one, with a figure resembling a saint of crime sowing vice, followed by death, is impressive.

It’s like it’s an icon for a holiday that I’m not aware of.

I have to assume they don’t have a minimum drinking age in Riverdale in the 40s, or else that restaurant is breaking the law.

Seen only once in Peter Canon Thunderbolt #60 this Charlton Comics hero has not been seen since.

“In a alternate future on a world where humor ,love, art, and positive emotions are crimes , One man decided to challenge this sad and warped way of life and become the hero known as the Prankster.”

Once upon a time on the comics racks you could find bunches of comic books dedicated to the adventures of people famous for being well known.

If they still did this I wonder who would get a comic today, Ryan Seacrest? Leo Di Caprio? Madonna? Kanye West? Stephen Colbert? Taylor Swift? #fame

Found in the 4th and last issue of Johnny Law: Sky Ranger in 1955, I wonder if anyone sent in 25 cents, did they feel cheated and so decided to shun the aero-police and related ilk on being cheated, maybe not, but before you know it, it’s 1965 and kids are going crazy

I blame you Johnny Law!

Johnny Law: Sky Ranger, was a shot lived comic that appeared in 1955, Johnny and his side-kick were so squeaky clean you could have eaten off of them, but don’t do that because I’m pretty sure that would have been a major violation of the Comic Code of Disapproval in force by then.
