I'm not Jewish but I totally see where you are coming from. My father served in WWII and was a lifelong Tory voter. If he was alive today I think he also would be appalled. This is exactly what he fought against. I'm grateful Nicholas Winton isn't alive to see it either. Shameful.

So the bottom line is this. Integrate so we don't regards you as 'other', but then when you have, we reserve the right to decide if and when we can tell you to go home. That's the way to make people welcome. Surely countries like India, Uganda etc. are now safe? Big expulsion from UK coming then?

Er, no. I agree with a lot of what you say, but not on this. We can't all be purists. Unfortunately. Our Victorian house is unsuitable for heat pumps. We have had solar panels since 2011. Do keep up with reality rather than using cheap insults. You will not change minds that way, only alienate.

I think there is some nuance required here. The majority of wood burning 'morons', as you rather judgementally refer to them, burn kiln dried fuel and not the wet, poorly dried stuff. Try and be a little more specific in your blanket comments. Yes. I do have a wood burner.
