Today STEM students from Martinlaakso High School visited us at the Metsähovi Geodetic Research Station. They learned how essential Geodesy is for satellite positioning and Earth Observing Satellites. During a site tour they were introduced to VLBI, SLR, GNSS and Gravimetry.

Today the Department of Geodesy and Geodynamics visited the Emma Museum of Modern Art in Espoo, Finland. We tried to expand our ways of thinking research and customers using design thinking.

A fun day for all of us and as a bonus we saw tons of interesting art pieces.

The new hydrogen maser for our VGOS telescope has arrived to Metsähovi Geodetic Research station in Finland. Metsähovi is a core station of The GGOS.
