Additionally, it was a relief to see these words in an email from the journal: "Please, keep in mind that REGION
published fully open access. This means that the copyright remains with the authors and that the authors only granted a creative commons license to REGION and all the readers...."

It was wonderful to finally be able to submit to a journal that allows for interactive HTML-based publications. I found out about this journal through a conversation with @fcorowe.bsky.social on another platform that will go unnamed, and it's great to see it now come into fruition!
