We’ve experienced our first low pressure system in a while over the weekend here on the Cape. The gusty winds are getting on my nerves but the rain was so needed; definitely beats the smell of smoke from mainland brush fires that was in the air last week.

Northeastern US brush fires are raging. We’ve had record fires in MA with red flag days for much of Oct/Nov. The smoke was so heavy in the air last night on the Outer Cape that when I stepped outside at 12:00 a.m., I had to run for my binoculars to assure myself nothing was ablaze nearby. #climate
