It’s because they were told they can’t use the Mara lago ballroom for classified materials. So they had to find a new way to get a members only space for top donors to access it.

My company added $100 of benefits monthly & never remove them. I walked/biked to work. When I moved & changed jobs, I kept the benefits when my new job didn’t offer them. I don’t feel bad, the benefits were a tax benefit for the company & they got tax breaks from DC for moving to the District 🤷🏼♂️

I’d love to know where this photo was taken to see a then vs now. Because as far as I know we’ve largely only gotten more dense/increased the demand and need for all the advocacy for the last 40 years. Thank you for all your work over the years

If you’re innocent, why would you want to move on? Why would he and the party of “law and order” not want to see the law enforced and justice prevail? Can’t find a reason. So I guess I’ll have to assume he’s guilty and trying to interfere with an investigation

Transit is also how I plan vacation in the US or abroad. Transit is true freedom but car brain tells us otherwise

When I graduated college & was looking for jobs, I limited my search to cities with reliable transit/rail transit that enabled car free/largely car free living. I realize that’s a privilege but it shouldn’t be - we all deserve access to affordable & reliable transit

IMO if it draws people to the county, specifically tourist tax dollars, ideally thats a net even or increase of revenue w/o increasing our taxes. Losing six flags is a big deal - at least this is 12 mos a year and drives more tourist to nat harbor. Maybe even a push for 🟡 across the Potomac

And further improvements can be achieved with continuing to fund transit expansion and option for Baltimore. W/O transit Baltimore won’t thrive. Without a thriving Baltimore, Maryland can’t thrive. Let’s get the red line funded!

They did everything they could to destroy their momentum. Who knew that in 2025, a week after huge wins, @kaine.senate.gov would come out as the reason Hilary lost in 2016 and squashing voter excitement for 2026. He’s suddenly the most mediocre politician of modern times.

On a positive note I won’t have to make any political donations next year. Guess they were scared by the volume of support in last week’s elections and decided to kill support for 2026 early

When I lived in DC he constantly cancelled his scheduled engagements. Anything from ANC meetings to one he was supposed to do at UDC which included a career fair and recruiters. He never informed UDC, he just didn’t show up.

Is your agency also full of appointees who only want to channel tax payers money to starlink/ musk even if it’s a violation of appropriations law? Even if they’ll never be used and will just sit in a warehouse at Dulles
