They didn't "lose Diaz." He didn't offer the Mets a chance to counter. Also, little brother Alexi is on the Dodgers. This is not on the Mets.

Pete was a defensive liability. His power can be obtained elsewhere. I'm thankful no more starting pitchers will go down with a hammy bc he can't make a simple throw to 1st.

I came here to say the same thing. I asked my partner, who has MS, and she said "horrific" is not a good descriptor of the disease.

I'm a progressive Gen X, so I do remember (and voted for) Bill Clinton. But I agree with you. If he did bad things, put him in jail. We are not a cult.

I don't know. I find it very compelling. The pressure is on both teams from go. That's good entertainment, and sports is an entertainment business.
