This will - without a doubt - force me to pay a rent I cannot afford for the home Ive lived in for the last eight years. This directly threatens my ability to live in this city, and Im furious that the Ford govt has added this fear and anxiety into my life. Its an attack on all renters' well being.

In particular, they want leases to no longer necessarily remain in effect indefinitely, so that landlords have more options for creating tenant turnover.

it's so weird to me how companies. corporations, economic pundits, etc etc all seem to think of "consumers" as some kind of endless resource that will continue ad infinitum while private buying power is being reduced at every turn by grossly over-reaching policies of worker efficiency
