That’s a book I’d like to find for a reasonable price. His work is stunning

I saw her speak and show slides at Adobe MAX many years ago. Bought my copy of her memoir from here there, too. Amazing photos and stories and life. Just an amazing person.

Added her and Goldie Chan (via Mia) to my feed. Definitely will check out Flipbook again. I remember it when it launched but haven’t looked in a decade. Good rec. Thanks!

Selfishly, I enjoying seeing your contact sheets. It’s fun to see part of other photographer’s process. Thank you.

Those are the best dreams! Coincidentally I had a laughing dream last night, too. It’s been a while.

Depends on what I find and the condition. I buy a lot of used books. Prefer hardcover for photo and art books. Trade paperbacks and pocket paperbacks are fine for everything else.

They go well together.

I agree about Sam Jones’ series of interviews. Mostly about process, it looked good and was very insightful. He spoke with interesting people.

If you haven’t read her memoir yet, you should, it’s a wonderful treat. I’m looking forward to her new book.

Fantastic!

I haven’t tried it. Seemed more like a trap to force IG users to engage with another app. Not a trustworthy use of my time.

I saw her open for Imogen Heap many years ago and rushed after the set to buy her CD. Been a fan ever since, bought her music, and seen her shows when she comes around. Love her work.

Branagh the past decade or so has been very showy. I think he’s playing to expectations. Branagh doing Wallender shows the artist is still there and can surprise.

I prefer physical books over virtual books. Too each their own but the reading experience is different. Physical books feel more immersive. I like the design of a physical book- the cover, the size, the paper stock. For photo and art books, there is no comparison.

Bummer. It was still a good experiment. One of my 120 film photos turned out good. One was ok. Three others were multiple exposure messes. But I will try again.
