In one of my previous jobs, I worked a few blocks from a Catholic Church, and often would go to the noon Mass on weekdays, especially if I hadn't gone on Sunday. Several dozen attendees, 30 minutes, loved it!

It's performance firing a prosecutor (an ethical, professional one), appointing a hack in his place, announcing the charges, which portray Comey as corrupt, part of the strongman act. It's been what, 24 hours? He's already moved on.

My (now deceased) cat was this way. She had been abandoned and lived outdoors for a few months before I rescued and adopted her. Totally unfazed by Florida thunderstorms, would sit in the window and watch the rain.

Totally get this - sometimes the input is overwhelming to my brain - I sometimes spend Saturdays on the sofa not so much snoozing as avoiding sensory input. Doomscrolling - try to avoid, it's hard to do so after a busy day at work - it can be the 2025 equivalent of zoning out in front of the TV.
