Literary Fiend. Lover of All Things English: It's Language (Anglo-Saxon, Middle English, Early Modern and Modern), History (Pre-History through the Stuarts are most interesting), Culture, Architecture, Geography, etc.
I live in a rich area Boston, but I'm not gonna claim not "everyone up here is rich". I grew up in poor rural areas and their is a VAST difference in income, resources in city like here, LA, vs. western north carolina.

They want the lithium in N.C., the real estate in Puerto Rico/Hawaii, you should see how many COLONIZERS are grabbing cheap Puerto Rican land. N.C. didn't vote democratic and it actually helped having them displaced(suppressed turn out in red areas). You may like that, but the calculations...wretch.

And neither of you get I said if I have to watch people in 9-20 million dollar house owners get bailed out in the context of north carolinans getting kicked out into subzero temperatures while NCDCF takes children away from parents, while the Puerto Rico still hasn't recovered, I will vomit.

Same thing happened in Puerto Rico, an Island was devastated including my partners family and they were told to get lost, just like the natives of Hawaii. If you think rich Californians are entitled to support no one else is something is seriously amiss in your ideas of right and wrong.

You really think the rich should have their homes paid for while the poor are kicked out of their temporary housing just this week and losing custody of children because of this disaster? This will go down just like the bank bail outs where the rich gets their asses covered while the poor suffer.

One appears oppressive, alienating and drags down, while the other lifts our spirits to the highest heights of human endeavor. One shows a civilization on the rise, while the other displays it, mid-fall on the cusp of a cultural suicide.

One embodies Keats sentiment, "Truth is Beauty, Beauty, Truth," while the other resembles more T.S. Eliot's Wasteland: "What are the roots that clutch, what branches grow out of this stony rubbish?"

Ummm, my family was from the North Carolina area hit. Both administrations have held back funds from people they thought would not vote or be useful to them. It's depraved behavior by BOTH administrations. I will literally vomit if these millionaires get their houses paid for though.
