Hatter, now living in Wolverhampton. Likely to post about football, cricket, music, food, politics, religion, quite a few things tbh. LTFC though will feature heavily...
The best thing was wrestling back momentum after the equaliser. Huddersfield had started to bully us. But this time we eventually got back control and for the last 30 minutes of the games (as we had been in the first 30) we were the much better team.

The 👑 of the tactical suspension. Well played Sav.

Looking good. Will definitely give it listen (or 2).

It's perfect nice cup of tea, sunday night TV.

I have similar mixed feelings about it. Though no mixed feelings about that corny cover version it ends with that you righteously call out.

Quest, De La and said earlier in the thread Gang Starr all have a shout for this also.

One final point..please point me to the succesful progressive major economy government we should learn from? Everyone is struggling from what I see ( as are the various right-wing ones)

What I mean is that you take the policies/changes mentioned plus renters rights, social housing investment, EU progess etc and you are starting to get progressive changes worth and needing defending.
I understand the issues with tone and nonsense on immigration that need repeated challenge also.

Depresing both from Starmer and co and his left critics. Agree with lots above. But also enjoy losing worker rights, increased public spend on climate, poor kids, infrastructure etc, increased taxes on rich etc. Because you were too busy shouting to notice.
WhenReform get in.
All are sleepwalking.

Ok. Can also take back some of my irritance re that particular weird slur as it wasn't the actual argument were making, which for the record is also wrong.
Not a homophobe either.

Workers rights, free meals for kids, higher minimum wage, ending 2 child cap, green investments, nationalisation, social housing investment, taxes on public schools, increased public spending...
Pretty left wing actual policies as alleged right wing scumbags go.

He visited that church once over 4 years ago and reiterated immediately his support for banning conversion therapy.
Small c conservative churches often do great community work that should be applauded in the same way their LGBTQ views need challenging (I say this as a small L liberal Christian).

Argues for 2 state solution, recognises Palestinian state, sanctions on Israeli ministers, ends trade negotiations, bans arms sales, supports the international court, aid to Gaza...

The other is a weird rumour created by Lads upset that Starmer said hurty words about folk wanting to kill refugees.
October 19, 2025 at 2:29 PM
The only thing he said with any credibility is regarding trans rights.
The rest are easily disprovable slurs.
The far left are as looney and anti evidence as reform are these days.
October 19, 2025 at 2:10 PM
The one using far right tropes and lies, rather than the one using thoughtful critique going by Jago's other posts.
Always amazed how often self described 'leftists' use right wing arguments against Starmer.
