Anyone going to Leicester, make sure you wrap up well. You'll need layers. Jimmy Dunne's winning goal may not be enough to keep you warm. Me, I'm borrowing my wife's leggings - a first! #COYRs

Most farms are being bought by institutional or private investors or lifestyle buyers (eg wealthy people who want to do something different: does anyone come to mind?) with less than a half bought by actual farmers. This isn't in the interests of farmers or the country. #IHT Thanks to Sky News

Fabulous gig at the Barbican with Dave Holland, can anyone else make the bass sound like this?, Chris Potter, lithe, powerful and rhythmic, and the inestimable Eric Harland well able to whip up a storm with the best, but mostly subtle and sensitively adding percussive colour. Wonderful #WeAreJazz

Charles Tolliver trans Atlantic big band busting the walls of the Barbican, Darrell Green extraordinary on drums and Camille Thurman superb on sax with spiritual inspired vocals matched by some of Britain's finest jazz musicians. #WeAreJazz
