3 x young Kestrels keeping eyes open for returning parents. Their nest was at the top of this war memorial, some 40/45 feet up.

Last day of our 3 weeks on Cyprus. Not much bird watching as I did promise Mrs W some time together. So not many highlights - Cyprus Wheatear, Cyprus Warbler, Hoopoe, Jay ( African species ).

Week 2 of the non birding holiday in Cyprus. Hired a car to visit Orokilini lakes, Larnaca.

Excellent morning at Minsmere today. Highlights, Red Necked Phalarope ( Lifer for me), Common Sandpiper, Little Stint ( very early), Little Gull, Garganey.

1000+ starlings around the new pig enclosures at Covehithe this am. Disturbed by the farmer, they took off and I was treated to murmurations for some time until they re settled.
