It reminded me of one thing.

The plethora of attestations that russia wouldn't invade.

Strategically it'll make the most sense, yes. Russia is extremely weakened so aligning with the dominant coalition in the neighbourhood seems straight forward.
February 25, 2025 at 11:23 PM
Hahaha, with the Germans voting for reaaon I have very good hope that they'll be on the right side of history this time around!
Happy to be in an EU led by the Germans who have shown great grace and thoughtfulness about their past and learned from it like no one else.

Popcorn for us.
February 25, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Bossmove. I'm living for it.
February 25, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Won't be a completely random country tho. If it has a dictator, he'll praise it instead.
February 25, 2025 at 5:39 PM
That's not a guarantee. Those are just cheerleaders standing in the rear.
February 25, 2025 at 12:31 AM
Idk, with the US now voting in line with almost every autocrat/dictator in the world and at the same time we don't see millions of americans protesting this on the streets.

I can't help but not expect anything.
February 25, 2025 at 12:26 AM
Because they definitely wouldn't provide aid if necessary.
February 25, 2025 at 12:11 AM
Yep, pretty sure those aren't allies, flying around in EU airspace.
February 25, 2025 at 12:10 AM
Even my least politically inclined family, whom bought a Tesla, are embarrassed at their purchase and mildly uncomfortable driving around.

Might get one of those "I bought this before Elon went nuts/nazi" stickers. Would've sold thr car already if they didn't feel like they'd make a loss.
February 25, 2025 at 12:05 AM
Pretty sure he's a vehemently pro European Balt.
February 24, 2025 at 11:42 PM
If it's missing, it's probably not important.
February 24, 2025 at 11:38 PM
Ah vague language, how strategic.
February 24, 2025 at 11:36 PM
Guess you didn't sit in Iraq or Afghanistan, like I did. We spent 20 years and buckets of money and over a thousand lives, solely for the benefit of the US.

I won't lift another finger to help out the absolute idiots in the US. Not after the betrayal of the past weeks.
February 24, 2025 at 11:34 PM
I was livid when I first read the demands.

I know some of trump's puppets excuse it as his way of negotiating...
Well were are the tough negotiations on russia?? There are none. He truly sold out.
February 24, 2025 at 11:19 PM
I'd say a third did not.
A third couldn't be bothered to vote in the first place.

On top of that where are the millions on the streets protesting this wannabe dictator.

I don't see the will to do something, even among the people who voted against Trump.
February 24, 2025 at 1:38 PM
He would be in his right to not have corrected that statement. The american people brought this on themselves and on us.
February 24, 2025 at 1:33 PM
The fact that they elected him twice now means that the next election result isn't guaranteed to be good either.

We can no longer trust in america. That's over.
February 24, 2025 at 1:31 PM
Understandable and I wish you the best of luck. Here in Europe we have to take a big step back from the US tho. Even if you elect a normal person next election, if there will be one, who is to say that the election after that there won't be another trump.

People seen that his toxic works in the US.
February 24, 2025 at 1:29 PM
Nope, the only reason you're questioning it is because you seem unable to understand that a public figure isn't the final authority on details. Nor are you able to understand that these public figures may change their message depending on their political need.
February 20, 2025 at 5:51 AM
Von der Leyen once said in 2023, that Ukraine lost 400.000 officers...

Is she right because she is in a leadership position and media reported on her saying it?
February 19, 2025 at 11:20 PM
Yes. He is infact overstating what they received. Just like Trump massively overstated what the US gave.
February 19, 2025 at 6:46 PM
The article reports it as military aid. It isn't.
February 19, 2025 at 1:08 PM
Yahoo article? Gimme a break.

Here a raport from the Kiel Institute. Which included everything, financial/military and everything the US actually invested in itself.
