Happy Thanksgiving to these Common Mergansers who survived being hunted by a couple of Bald Eagles at the White Mill.

Water levels were super low at Staunton River State Park this weekend which made for great birding. Just hundreds and hundreds of Killdeer, Bonaparte’s, and Ring-billed Gulls all over the mudflats. I even saw a Dunlin for the first time 😃
