I am surprised to say that these words are being spoken from me that “I agree with MGT”. I wish Rep. Pelosi well, she has done great things, and I do agree that congressional representatives should leave office before 80.

I think there’s better ways than a “wealth tax”. For the US, we can’t take a loan with our 401(k) or IRA funds as collateral, but the rich can use their wealth as collateral for loans. Tax the amount being used for collateral as “income” or “realized capital gains”.
