I am not supporting Russia. I condemn completely what they have done. I wish we could live on a world where countries could choose their own fate. We dont. I condemn as much Russia for invading as I do Europe for not having a common security architecture that included everybody, Russia too.

The proof that they didnt invade other countries when they knew they were going to join NATO ? That they didn't invade Finland? I don't know for sure. But I have known for decades that our continued NATO expansion would eventually result in pushback.

There's no proof Russia is looking to rebuild empire. We should have - as Russia requested several times - built a European security architecture that would have considered all parties. The US never allowed it. Instead NATO continually pushed East.

Russias protests were only ever intended to be symbolic. It knows full well that NATO runs roughshod over it when it wants to and that its de facto control via vetoes ensures that any resolutions it puts forward will be vetoed, see also Israel.

Yes and its had the backing of NATO in the shadows and it still cannot prevail. How much more death is enough before the inevitable. The Ukrainians are brave, they have nothing but my respect. My anger is reserved for the west and Russia, not Ukraine.

Please. Just stop. You keep doing the same thing. Im not defending Putin or their actions in Ukraine ! I am merely pointing out that this outcome was entirely predictable. It was predicted by many Russian and Western sources. Russia is nott doing anything the US wouldn't have done. Its reality.
