It shows just how far right the overton window of "acceptable political discourse" when a PM of a supposed labour party stands up and says ACTUAL racism and gets away with it. The tories of the 60's didn't accept it and they were the right wing of their day.

This right here, the dems finally lost when harris said nothing would change on that tv show. Liberals cannot be trusted to fight the right, they capitulate, roll over and surrender to the right.

The democrats and their failure to promote left-wing populism was, in huge parts, what brought the huge election loss upon them.
If they ran a Populist, left-wing candidate like Bernie Sanders, they'd have won in a landslide.

For me in the UK, it is a return to getting up in a morning and thinking "what has he done this time".
