Solidly the kind of medication where if the patient is really not bothered about the thing it's treating, you assess those long term effects and go "yeah, lady, this is not medically necessary for your kid".
I distinctly remember I didn't want to be on it at the time, but a doc and my mum said so 🤷♂️

This PSA sparked by me being in pain from the cracked and bleeding corners of my mouth, which are a long term/permanent side effect of acne medication a dermatologist put me on for acne I didn't give a single flying fuck about - but my mother sure did!
