I’m sorry but then the laser has failed and would need to be replaced it might be easier for you to just buy a refurbished GameCube

No problem, anytime. Hopefully that helps if not you’ll probably have to replace the laser or get a new GameCube if you’re not comfortable replacing it on your own.

When you open the GameCube there is a little glass circle that’s the laser. I’ve circled it in the image for you.

Open the GameCube using a q-tip use 90% rubbing alcohol and lightly dab it on the tip then on the laser that reads the disc gently use the q-tip to remove and dust or grime. It could just be build up of dust from storage.

Did you check the laser for dust or damage m?

Right now I’m playing FF7 remake on ps5 on switch I’m going through the Xenoblade Chronicles , and just started Super Mario wonder and loving it

Very cool. I’d actually say the same except for the deck as I don’t have one not much of a PC stream guy.
