24 December 1930 | French Jewish girl, Fajga Wajsfas, was born in Paris.

She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Drancy on 24 August 1942. She was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection.

18 December 1922 | A Frenchman, Henri Rolland, was born in Paris.

In #Auschwitz from 8 July 1942.

He perished in the camp on 28 August 1942.

We began, this UN Genocide Prevention Day, by hearing from one of Ms. Sinaguglia's Oak Academy students: a wonderful example of youth leadership, advocacy & commitment.
