Google says the marbled orb weaver is common to Iowa, but in my 62 years living in this state, this is my first sighting. Also known as a pumpkin spider for obvious reasons.

Every year for my grandchildren’s birthdays they give me a theme and I custom make their gift wrap, as well as cookies to take to school to celebrate. This was the paper and cookies for my 10-year-old granddaughter. This is sort of my artistic expression. #artwork #cookiedecorating #kidbirthdays
