I adopted a rescue back in Sep. She was held in a dark basement for breeding purposes! My heart was just broken for her. But she gets love, attention, and plenty of food every day. She still tries to bury her leftover food to save for later. 😢 She will *never* go hungry in my house!

All my life, I've lived in utter shame. My GGF & GF both submitted to the Nazi ideology. I ran and hid from this shame. My GGF was part of the SA. My GM always insisted they were loving & good men. Do not succumb! Your choices will follow your grandchildren. It will cause pain, stop and THINK!

There is a lovely street food restaurant in Cologne (DE) called 'Oh Canada!' I order from them often, not so cheap but I don't care. I place a huge order and freeze most of it, instant dinner on nights I'm just too tired to cook. Not too crazy about their poutine but ya can't win'em all 😉

It's been six months since my best boy has left me. I dreamt about him just last night. I have his sister still here but it's not the same. My heart is still broken. Love your pets!

Resistance to the Nazis & the attempt on Hitler's life supported by my 5th cousin, Justus Delbrück; husband of my 6th cousin Emmi Delbrück, Klaus Bonhoeffer, and their relations. All executed in 1945 by the SS. I'm humbled by such courage. (Cousins go back to my great-grandfather Justus Liebig)
