1/2 I don’t have many followers, so I’m kind of venting to the BlueSky clouds. The dismantling of democracy is paralyzing me. My daughter (moderate blue) is getting married on my parents’ property in less than three weeks, a mile from our house. My parents are completely Faux News brainwashed.

1/2 Let me get this straight: Medicaid funding is on hold in the funding freeze. It provides medical care for not only the low income, but the disabled. So a woman can discover in her pregnancy that her fetus has a lifelong disabling condition, but is required to birth and care for that child.

The funeral for President Carter is proving to be a joyous celebration of the best our country has to offer and a repudiation of EVERY. DAMN. THING. that T%#p embodies. I hope he feels the stinging rebuke in every kind word lauding Carter.
