Why is it that I hate sports and like sports people. They’re mostly gregarious and logical. It’s like all their hostility and irrational behavior is vented at the opposing team and not by screaming at the IKEA Jërker desk you’re trying to assemble.

Visited SFMOMA and happened to see Amy Sherald’s exhibition American Sublime. Her paintings cary the hope, determination, and the importance of defining your own role in the world. After days of wallowing in despair from voters choosing small-minded pettiness over sanity and justice. This is joy.
