Explosions in the Sky's soundtrack for David Gordon Green's Prince Avalanche has been a favorite of mine for years.

A lot of them are pretty hard to find in HD.

Paul Mazursky was pretty huge in the 70s and while less so in the 80s still had some well received films but seems mostly forgotten now.

Not sure why Google Photoscan gave the left one such a blue tint. I scanned both in the exact same light.

The scenes on the rooftop of AGH were real though. I assumed that they just filmed plates and shot the actors in front of a green-screen but no they actually had them way up on the roof there. You could almost see my house in some of the those shots.

They filmed on location for a week or so. The scenes on the roof and the scene in the park and any time you can see brick townhouses were all filmed here in the 'burgh. They don't seem to have been back for S2 though.

I lived in the first house in from Penn on S Graham for ten years.
