Finally a finished object after a long long long time! Couldn’t find a good wooly hat at shops for my little toddler but I’m a knitter, right? Went stash diving and made a #musselburghhat! Yarn is Fyberspate’s Vivacious 4-ply in Burnished.

Tried to cast-on the Musselburgh hat with fingering weight yarn 6 times so that my toddler can have a warm winter hat. When I finally got it right-ish, one of my DPNs fell out on row 1 and I thought I popped it back correctly. Alas, a quarter of my work ended up twisted 😵‍💫 Another go tomorrow or no?

Discarded some pumpkin seeds at our compost and we now have a pumpkin (and maybe more to come). This reminded me of @goldshawfarm.bsky.social compost mint 🤣

Still going strong on 1 of 2 advent blankets. Note to self: no more blanket knitting on fingering weight yarn 😵‍💫

I love mindless knit stitches but garter stitch k2tog isn’t fun for me, so I alternated it with stocking stitch sections
